Just For Kicks: Teen Artists Paint Sneakers!

March 26 from 12PM to 5PM In-person

The Arlington Arts Center is presenting an exclusive teen artist sneaker competition where 30 teens from across the metropolitan DC area will be selected to participate in a special sneaker workshop and public event.

On Friday, March 25 (6-8pm) the selected teen artists will participate in a private workshop led by professional artists. On Saturday, March 26 (12-5pm) the public is invited to bring a pair of their own sneakers or a pair to donate to a local shelter. The teen artists will be on hand to customize the public’s sneakers while they have an opportunity to explore the exhibitions on view in the galleries. This event is presented by the Arlington Arts Center and generously supported by JBG Smith.
